Joinery Drafter Assistant
D-Frameworks
Our next Joinery Drafter Assistant will utilise cutting-edge technology such as 3D scanners and BIM to ensure accuracy and quality in our projects. They are also expected to be proficient in software including Inventor, Revit, CAD, and SketchUp.
We're looking for someone who:

The Joinery Drafter Assistant is expected to assist the team in:
▶ Creating 1:1 scale models using Inventor
▶ Managing schedules
▶ Ordering materials & managing workshop inventory
▶ Drafting assembly & installation drawings
▶ Operating CNC cutting machines & drafting related drawings
▶ Communicating with joinery production & installation personnel
▶ Inspecting joinery production
▶ Using a 3D scanner for site measurements & point matchingIn addition to these tasks listed above, depending on your capabilities and progression, you may have the opportunity to experience a wide range of duties.
Work Schedule
Monday to Friday, 8AM to 5PM

Moving to 2/290 Bolton St, Eltham VIC 3095 by Q1 2024 -
▶ Relevant major or degree is preferred
▶ Prior experience in the related field is preferred
▶ Proficiency in Inventor or Revit is a plus.
▶ Must be able to work full time in Australia., but part-time work arrangement can be discussed.

Joinery Assembler & Installer
D-Frameworks
We are looking for an experienced individual who has great attention to detail and accuracy. Aside from being an expert in cabinet and joinery fabrication and installation, they should also be willing to learn the processes of D-Frameworks.
Our next Joinery Assembler & Installer is expected to:
▶ have a desire to learn and apply forward-thinking construction methods rather than traditional approaches
▶ be proactive and passionate about their tasks
▶ can effectively collaborate with various stakeholders
▶ be computer proficient and able to read shop drawings
▶ know how to work smart
▶ consider self-development as part of their everyday work
▶ manage their own time effectively

The role will be responsible in the following tasks:
▶ Operating and labeling CNC cutting machines
▶ Assembly and on-site installation of D-Frameworks and all joinery related to cabinets and other projects
▶ Scheduling and managing assembly and installation tasks
▶ Communicating and collaborating with various stakeholders
▶ Quality inspection of manufactured items and on-site installations
▶ Management of tools in the field and factory
▶ Workshop management

Designer/Architect

We are on the hunt for a collaborative and innovative Designer/Architect who has a passion for creating sophisticated yet sustainable designs, We want a visionary who would push the limits of traditional design in both residential and commercial projects and create the next big thing in architecture.
Aside from being an outstanding designer, our next Designer/Architect should:

Working at Arkim as a Designer/Architect entails the following responsibilities:
▶ Design development and drafting
▶ Coordination with engineers, and other stakeholders and dependencies such as shopping centers and council meetings for drafting
▶ Production drafting
▶ Design supervision

▶ Secure permits (i.e., building permits, planning permits, etc.)
